ACWE starts rehearsing for the Spring, 2023 concert season on January 10, 2023.
Our spring program, Lenny, features American composers Aaron Copland and Leonard Bernstein. Selections include:

ACWE Holiday Party
ACWE is having a party this weekend! The festivities will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 20th. We'll be in the Fellowship Hall of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3208 Exposition Blvd in Austin. The entrance to the parking lot is on Carlton Rd.
This will be a potluck, with ACWE providing meat and veggie lasagna as the main dishes. Feel free to bring a side, a dessert, a soft/adult beverage, or just yourself! There should be plenty to go around.
Spring rehearsals start January 9, 2024
Join us for the spring 2024 season. All wind and percussion players beyond high school age are welcome.

Rehearsals start August 23, 2022
Musicians, join us the for Fall, 2022 season! Rehearsals start Tuesday, August 23rd at 7:30 PM in the fellowship hall at Covenant United Methodist Church.
In-person rehearsals continue March 8, 2022

Travis County returned to Stage 2 Covid-19 precautions on March 4th. As previously communicated, proof of vaccination is no longer required for attending rehearsals while we are at stage 2 and below.
In-person rehearsals begin March 1, 2022
Based upon declining COVID cases, Austin Civic Wind Ensemble will begin rehearsals at the Covenant United Methodist Church on March 1 at 7:30. Attendance at rehearsals are optional based upon your comfort level. Members who attend rehearsals do so understanding the risk of exposure to COVID.
