Rehearsals for the Fall, 2024 season start August 20

Rehearsals start Tuesday, August 20

This season's program includes:

  • España Cañí, Marquina
  • Tam o’Shanter, Arnold
  • The Clapping Song, Standridge
  • Come Drink One More Cup, Chen
  • People who Live in Glass Houses, Sousa
  • Berceuse and Finale from "The Firebird Suite", Stravinsky
and the world premiere of Empapado (El Poncho), by our own Kathleen Brotherton.

ACWE Holiday Party

ACWE is having a party this weekend! The festivities will begin at 6:00 PM on Saturday, January 20th. We'll be in the Fellowship Hall of Westminster Presbyterian Church, 3208 Exposition Blvd in Austin. The entrance to the parking lot is on Carlton Rd.

This will be a potluck, with ACWE providing meat and veggie lasagna as the main dishes. Feel free to bring a side, a dessert, a soft/adult beverage, or just yourself! There should be plenty to go around.

ACWE Game Night

ACWE is hosting a Zoom forum discussion with fellow musicians on Tuesday, January 26th at 7:30PM!  We will be learning from one another about various music software and fun ways to keep your chops up and your instruments warm while we continue to safely share and make music from the comforts of home.
